Wow. Time has really flown by! It seems like just the other day I was still day dreaming and planning. Now I am in San Diego, and tonight we drive to Camp to start trail in the morning (a day early).
Just a week ago, I was driving through Lake Tahoe – still covered in snow on way to my dad’s house where I would finish packing my resupply boxes. A few days later, I flew to Long Beach to spend a day at Disneyland. After spending so much time surrounded by people, cities and traffic – I will be so much more grateful for the tranquility on trail.
I have been so busy finishing up my final preparations, eating as much non trail food as possible, and tying up loose ends with bills and event planning. I am so excited for my first event in Idyllwild and teaming up with ARF and Living Free to support pet adoption and outdoor adventure! I sure hope to see some of you there! See more on my Events page, and updates as more details are set in stone!
If you haven’t yet, make sure to buy a shirt! They are available for 2 more days (until April 19th)! I will also have a handful of bandannas with me along the trail and in resupply boxes – so let me know if you want one or two! 🙂
